Due to the dropping of Revo7, we had to add a BYE to the Alpha Division. So teams in the Alpha Division will have a 1 week bye. We have set the first 5 weeks of competition, and we will set the remainder once the divisions are into Week 3. Remember that all rosters are locked at the start of Week 2.

Yeah, so ummm, I like forgot to launch the How-To for the Anti-Cheat Walkthrough. The main question that keeps getting asked is what is the match id?

The Default Match ID is gacglava5v5 . When you log into the Anti-Cheat Client, please make sure you use this Match ID.

We at Global Amateur Competitive Gaming League pride ourselves on trying to make our gaming events as fair and safe as possible to participate in. With that being said, we do not take lightly individuals coming to our site and trying to participate in our leagues when they are well known, established, and proven hackers. We recently have added 30 IPs associated with 2 individuals from a gaming organization that has been known to harbour hackers on their team. With those 2 individuals alone, we are instructing any individuals associated with this gaming community to contact us if they want to legitimately participate in our events.

If these two individuals are found on our site again, under any alias then the ones they are known with, and this specific team or any team that brings them on as part of their squad is found using them, the whole team will be removed, the team leader will receive a ban as well, and each individual will be required to find a new team to play on for the next season.

Just to let you all know that the AVA league will be starting tomorrow night some time and that all teams that want to get in the league have tell the 7th of feb to register and make sure that they have the required amount of members to be in the ladder

Also we do have a forums that you can go to and let people know what you think about the league and just chat about different stuff we here at GACGL are looking in to add more games to the league so you will need to check the forums to see what games we will be doing and watch to see what games are in the mix

This is just preliminary as the divisions will not be set until February 1st 2010 when the first pre-season matches are announced. If you have a team that you want to sign up and get into the season, you have until February 2nd 2010 to be eligible for the pre-season and the final day for sign ups will be February 7th 2010 at Midnight EST.

Everyone needs to make sure that they have downloaded and installed our Anti-Cheat Client. There is a walk through on how to set up the account in our forums called UAC2 HOW-TO. Please make sure that you have everything set up properly, and that the client is installed. Now, the client itself has an auto-update feature, or there is no need to manually update the client.



Teams will be assigned their divisional rankings on February 1st 2010, as well as their pre-season week opponents. Along with the pre-season, all teams will be auto-configured for the rest of the season, so teams can plan ahead as to who they will be in the upcoming weeks.
